Thanks to its reinforced backing layer, the material is durable and easy to install on walls, floors, and ceilings.

Material Composition: Flexible yet Heavy

It is primarily made from PVC or EVA vinyl, providing flexibility and elasticity. It includes minerals such as calcium carbonate (similar to sand) or barium sulfate (used clinically as a contrast agent for X-ray imaging or as a filler in plastics), which add weight to the material.

How MLV Works?

Its primary function is to block the transmission of sound waves rather than absorbing or reflecting them.

As a dense material, MLV impedes the passage of sound waves. When sound waves encounter MLV, they struggle to pass through due to its weight and density. As a result, the material reduces or blocks a significant portion of the sound energy passing through it.

Although MLV does not absorb sound in the same way as materials like acoustic foam or insulation, its flexibility and internal structure may lead to minimal absorption. Its main purpose is to prevent the passage of sound rather than absorb it. Our MLV product stands out in the market for its effectiveness and versatility in addressing various noise-related issues.
