This significant reduction in room reverberation is also useful when you are creating some voice content that you are recording on a microphone, for example: voice-over, singing, or playing musical instruments, creating or listening to music, acoustic curtains are also used in office spaces, in large halls for film and video production, in concert halls or in any other spaces where you need to improve the sound both during recording and music production.
Another effect of the VB2GO deNoise soundproof curtain (acoustic curtain) that you can use is to soundproof the room from the surroundings, if you place a large number of these curtains in the room, thanks to the huge sound absorption of the VB2GO deNoise curtains you will achieve the absorption of most of the sounds you create, so you will not disturb the surroundings with your noise like our customers Drummers or Saxophonists do.

Location of grommets
The distance of the inner opening of the 40mm grommets, which slide along your curtain rod, is 5 cm from the top edge of the curtain. Therefore, when planning the curtain length you wish to order, it’s good to keep this in mind. Note: Please also be aware that the curtains are made with a tolerance of +/- 2 cm, so we recommend leaving about 3 cm of space from the floor to avoid the curtain dragging on the ground.
Attachment
On the upper side you will find 40mm grommets and you can place the curtain on the curtain rod with diameter up to 35mm. The grommets themselves have a 40mm hole diameter and are nickel in color. Additional grommets can be added at your request to any other location.
Material
deNoise soundproof curtain (acoustic curtain) are filled with non-toxic recycled cotton-polyester blend fibers, and because of the large amount of this unique filling, the curtains have a great ability to absorb sound over a wide range of frequencies. The surface material is a high quality solid polyester fabric and to keep the filling inside the fabric is stitched every 5cm from top to bottom.
Sound absorption
Using soundproof curtains is the cheapest and most reliable way to reduce noise coming into the room, improve the sound when recording with a microphone, improve clarity when communicating or mute the sound coming from your drum kit by absorbing that sound before it starts to disturb someone else somewhere else.
As you can see in the top graph, when the acoustic curtain is hung in a straight manner, the absorption from 400Hz is 0.8NRC which means that the acoustic curtains absorb 80% of the sound from 400Hz and higher that hits them.
If you install the acoustic curtains in an undulating manner and the undulation is about 15cm, you will achieve an even higher sound absorption of 0.95NRC from 300Hz, which in turn means that the acoustic curtains will absorb 95% of the sound at 300Hz and above that hits them.
If you wanted to achieve the same NRC 0.8 results with acoustic foam you would have to use full acoustic foam 7cm wide or acoustic foam with needles at least 12cm high and these are much more expensive options that have to be laboriously glued to the wall!
And if you wanted to achieve the same NRC 0.8 results with conventional blackout curtains which have a weight per 1m2 of only around 300g you would have to buy these curtains 4.5x and hang them on top of each other!

Suitable for DJ and production studios
Acoustic curtains are an excellent way to quickly and cheaply turn an empty room into a good sounding studio suitable for creating and mixing music or for DJs.
Soundproofing
VB2GO soundproofing curtains thanks to the huge weight per 1m2 up to 2600g can create a strong barrier against noise, so it is advisable to use them as curtains for windows where they prevent the penetration of ambient noise into the room or hang them on movable rails and divide the room into several parts, there are many ways to use the curtains and it is very much about your creativity.
Many of our customers use curtains to create a noise barrier to avoid disturbing their surroundings when playing drums, saxophones, singing and so on, simply to relieve your neighbours or the people in the next room, but here it is worth remembering, that soundproof curtains don't put sound on completely mute but they absorb a huge amount of sound which then cannot continue on into the surroundings without being reflected further, this makes the sound you hear or record with a microphone significantly more detailed and clearer and therefore when the sound is absorbed less of that sound passes further through the wall.
Excellent for video and film
In case you are shooting interviews, short films or any video where spoken word, musical instruments or singing is recorded, you need to record the sound of such an interview as best as possible and especially without reverberation of the space and for this acoustic curtains are perfect because you can easily take them with you on every shoot as they can be easily folded, They can be easily unfolded or hung on stands, which are usually crowded everywhere during filming, and you can significantly improve the sound of the video, which gets a professional touch.
Reflects light
The black-and-white and double-sided white version of deNoise soundproof curtain (acoustic curtain) can also serve as a so-called "reflector," allowing you to achieve significantly softer light. You can either shine your main light directly onto the white side of the curtain (key light) or place it next to the white side to create an additional reflecting surface, eliminating the need for additional lighting (fill light).
Of course, as previously mentioned, thanks to the excellent acoustic properties of the curtain, it reduces room reverberation, resulting in significantly improved audio quality for your video production.
Please note: Expect that you may find some color imperfections on the white side, such as very fine and almost invisible blue or pink stripes. The white fabric is not flawless because deNoise acoustic curtains are designed for efficiency at a low cost, not for appearance.
Absorbs light
When filming, there are usually many lights everywhere, but sometimes you need to absorb light from a specific direction or create a darker area where monitors will be placed. You can also use deNoise blackout curtains for this purpose. The black surface beautifully absorbs light from the given direction and significantly improves the acoustics of the recording space.
Darkening and Soundproofing
deNoise blackout curtains have a very high weight per square meter, up to 2600g. This is achieved by not only layering multiple fabric layers but also by incorporating a filling. This filling is so dense that it does not allow direct sunlight to pass through. With deNoise 1300 curtains, the darkening is 95%, and with deNoise 2600, it's 100%.
The high density also has another effect: the ability to absorb a large amount of noise (soundproofing):
deNoise 1300 curtains block 10-15dB
deNoise 2300 curtains block 15-25dB
The degree of sound attenuation depends on the sound properties. Bass sounds as music are absorbed less effectively, while higher-pitched sounds, like police sirens, are absorbed better.
Suitable for Offices
These acoustic curtains are also suitable for use in offices and commercial spaces. By reducing reverberation, they significantly improve speech intelligibility, allowing for better communication with clients in your business space. You can mount the curtains on the wall or, if you have high ceilings, hang them from the ceiling.
Acoustic Solution for Large Spaces
Last but not least, these acoustic curtains can be used in large halls to reduce reverberation and create a suitable space for recording or playing music, singing, speaking, and more. Thanks to their high efficiency and low cost, you can cover large spaces and achieve good acoustics affordably and quickly. You can easily hang large curtains from the ceiling or attach them to walls or doors.
Other Uses
As you can see, there are many possible uses for deNoise acoustic curtains from VocalBoothToGo. It's definitely a better and more cost-effective solution than using acoustic foam, which has no soundproofing properties.
Increasing Effectiveness
If you want to achieve even better sound absorption (soundproofing), we recommend leaving a gap of approximately 5-8 cm between the wall and the soundproof curtain. This air gap will enhance effectiveness.
Another significant way to increase the effectiveness of denoise soundproof curtain (acoustic curtain) is to hang them in a wavy pattern with approximately 15cm waves. This will result in a 15% higher effectiveness.
Our deNoise curtain series with 40mm eyelets for direct hanging on curtain rods is more suitable for this wavy hanging method, as the rods pass through the eyelets, naturally creating a wavy effect.
Cleaning
These soundproof curtain can be machine-washed in a washing machine that can handle at least 10kg of laundry (depending on the model you purchased). However, you may not be able to wash such heavy soundproof curtains at home, you may need to take them to a local laundry with high-capacity washing machines and dryers. This eliminates the need for dust removal during fixed installations. You can simply remove the curtains, take them for washing, and hang them back up (which cannot be done with acoustic foam attached to walls).
Stitching
If you purchase a curtain variant with one side black and the other side white, the stitching is done with white thread. This ensures that the white side remains perfectly white, and the white thread blends well with the black side, causing no interference. The stitching is parallel every 5cm, maintaining the curtain's shape, and preventing the filling from shifting inside.
If you choose an all-black variant, the stitching is done with black thread, and the curtain is entirely black.
Please note: Stitching may not be perfect and may exhibit minor imperfections, such as patched stitching gaps or protruding thread ends. We do our best to repair or mask all imperfections during customization to make the product look as good as possible. However, keep in mind that deNoise soundproof curtain are among the most cost-effective products on the market with the highest efficiency, and their design prioritizes functionality over appearance.
Color: Expect that you may find some color imperfections on the white side, such as very fine and almost invisible blue or pink stripes. The white fabric is not flawless because deNoise acoustic curtains are designed for efficiency at a low cost, not for appearance. The black color is always perfect without flaws.

Please note: deNoise soundproof curtain (acoustic curtain) are utilitarian products designed specifically for functionality. You may find minor imperfections on them that do not affect their sound absorption capability. We strive to repair all imperfections during customization, so the curtains may exhibit slight imperfections after these repairs.
Also, please be aware that acoustic curtains are "sound-absorbing," not "soundproof." They absorb sound to prevent it from reflecting in the space, also acting as soundproofing, just like other acoustic curtains on the market. However, VB2GO deNoise curtains have significantly higher weight per 1m2 than most other aesthetically pleasing acoustic curtains on the market, making them much more effective at soundproofing and sound absorption. Unfortunately, the surface fabric and stitching do not look as aesthetically pleasing as velvet or molton.
Color: Expect that you may find some color imperfections on the white side, such as very fine and almost invisible blue or pink stripes. The white fabric is not flawless because deNoise acoustic curtains are designed for efficiency at a low cost, not for appearance. The black color is always perfect without flaws.
